This is a monochrome photocopy of a 3-D object, viz., my own
vizage.
As you see, it's contrasty, and there's not much depth to the
image.
(Someone said it looks like a detail from the Shroud of Turin, but my
more
perceptive wife said, "No depth!") A color copier might have done
better, but I haven't had the heart to try that yet at a buck a
pop--and
in public. It might be worth the try with someone else's head,
though. Compare this with a similar
experiment
using a flatbed scanner.
