On the other hand, this is the toughest-to-scan 35 mm slide I could find, and even so it's a recognizable image. And the only thing I needed to make this image--aside from the scanner, of course--was one sheet of paper.
Scanned at 600 dpi with Shadow & Highlight adjusted and Unsharp
Mask filter turned on. No post-scan processing. The lighter
area at the bottom is not an artifact of the scanning. It's
on the slide, itself. I don't know what caused it.
