As a collector and lover
of "objects," this horrified me, and yet, from my little, long
ago studies of Zen Bhudism,
it struck me as the epitome of non-attachment. Personally I am
so attached to my own paintings
and constructions that I still have every one I've ever made
except two or three that
have been given to close personal friends. Joseph Light
obviously
operated on a completely different plane.
