Although she'd never admit it, Carol is one smart
cookie. For example, she scored in the 99th percentile on the National
Teacher Exam. She was identified as one of the ten brightest freshman
at Michigan State University the year she started there. (No, I won't

Since 1988(?) Carol has been teaching at State
Virginia. That is to say, she teaches in a state prison. She teaches
from beginning reading through high school equivalency.
What she does is very important and

Other Teaching Experience
Carol has also taught in Nigeria, Spain, China,
in the U.S. at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and in adult
programs in North Carolina, Missouri, and Virginia.
